There is a few ways to do this.

1. Draw the bases as hosted wall sweeps (my preferred method)

2. Incorporate the base profile into the wall types.

3. In place sweeps.

I will add this...

If you don't need to schedule this, then why model it?   I would only model these if I need them for a 3D view.  Otherwise, I just add the linework to elevations and details.

I agree with WWHub 100%. I have learned that "less is more" when it comes to modeling. We usually do show the bases in our renderings and usually they are 6x5/8" or 4x5/8" plastic base so I had to come up with a solution to show them in 3D views.

I want to draw my baseboard as a 2D line on the elevation but how do I call out the material if I'm faking it?
