I'm not a practicing architect, but have an architectural background. Currently I'm helping an architecture firm working on their Revit drawing. Up to now, we're quiet ok on schematic design stage. Then, they asked me to look into putting structure into the building.
I guess I can start drawing columns and beams following the help document. BUT
1. How much to draw as an architect? All structural columns and beams? What is practical to draw?
2. I don't see that I can apply material on the surface of a beam, so won't there be a lot of lines to clean up for elevations/sections? (like between walls/beams/columns)
I will have more questions, but let see if anyone can give me a good advice to start with. I always find many solutions from Revitcity while learning Revit. But I couldn't find this answer in any thread. Thank you in advance!
