I can't get Reveal Hidden Elements to work when editing a family. Am I missing something or doesn't it work in the family editor? It always seems to be greyed out. Cheers.

Doesn't work there, only temporary or in VG you can turn off categories.

Strange. It surprises me the clever things that Revit can do, but then you come across a small simple thing which it can't do!

Really not so strange. Why would you want to permanently hide something in a family? You only do that in views that are placed on sheets. Otherwise, you have the temporary hide.

Agreed, but some families can look really complex on the screen and so the ability to hide and reveal is useful, on top of this the ability to hide / reveal and temporarily bring back would be even better...
