We have upgraded all our files from 2010 to 2011 Revit versions across the discipline’s we have been working on work sharing methodology. Now the issue is when we have upgraded the files dimensions which we have denoted in the 2010 Revit version has been updated but the result was not as we required. In 2010 version we have used the dimensions and under the options Reading Convention – Left then Up has been used for both horizontal as well as vertical dimensions. In the file upgraded to 2011 the issue is the field Text (TYP) which we have used for the most of the dimensions is overlapping with the dimension text. Even before logging an issue to the subscription the same option with the new file we have tried and the result was perfect in 2010 version but in 2011 it was having a problem as described.

So  requesting  you to kindly give the solution if any one have faced this issue.

For the ease of understanding I am attaching the JPEG images along with this.

thanx in advance for giving solutions.

This appears to be a bug in this release.

I do not know the difference between the read convention of "left, then up" vs  "up, then left".  In 2010, I do not see any differenece.  In 2011, I see the same error that you see.  However, "up, then left" corrects the problem you are having with these dimensions.

This issue still exists in version 2012 using the "Left then Up" Read Convention.  Any text input into the "Bottom" field doesn't get rotated.
