Hi.

Could someone help me create a roof that follows my linked structural file's sloped steel deck? I copy / monitored the deck but once it is in my arch model it no longer slopes. It becomes a flat roof.

I opened the structural model and copied the roof deck to the clipboard. Then I just pasted aligned to my roof level, changed the roof type and then adjusted the height accordingly. It looks great and didn't take longer than a minute and a half to do.

If anyone sees something wrong with this method, let me know.

Hi,

Roofs have been constructed in a wide variety of forms — flat, pitched, vaulted, domed, or in combinations — as dictated by regional, technical, and aesthetic considerations.
