Hello

Working in 2010.  I am having a problem with this pattern file I downloaded.  It is not a .pat file.  I had to do a save as on an existing pattern file and then copy and paste this into it.  Can someone help.  I have been searching around Revit city but can't find the answer to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

  • Edit the file with Notepad
  • change the word DRAFT to either DRAFTING or MODEL
  • save the file
  • rename the file  to FIELDSTONE.PAT
  • Load to Revit as a Custom DRAFTING or MODEL pattern depending on what you changed DRAFT to.

Note the pattern may need to be scaled up to load as a MODEL pattern.  HatchKit can alter the file to load at 1:1 as a MODEL pattern if desired.

Thank you Thank you.  I had not noticed it said DRAFT instead of DRAFTING.

No worries.

You could also just delete that whole line as DRAFTING is the default (read the comments at the beginning of your revit.pat file for details).
