Is it possible to filter out a particular ceiling tag when it equals a certain height?  I'm working in a large project and we have noted that all ceilings shall be 9' unless noted otherwise.  Therefore, we'd like to delete out all of our 9' ceiling tags that were created with a tag all not tagged command.  Thanks for any help..

Hunterfloyd:

You can create a schedule to view all ceiling heights based on the room number. Just like a door schedule. This will allow you to find all of the rooms and their heights in the project.

Unfortunately, you cannot select the instances here and then delete. I believe you need to delete these manually.

Remember that Revit usese schedules really well. Use them for maintence and for production.

Cheers,

Depends on how many rooms are 9'-0". It might be easier to delete all ceiling tags by using select all instances. Then come back and manually tag the ones that aren't 9'-0".

I'm kinda typing as I think here, so this may not be as good a solution as I'm thinking. Erase all your tags. Create a schedule that will group your ceilings by height (not sure if this is possible, but it seems like it should be). Select the schedule row with the ceilings you want tagged, then alt+tab back to the view you want the tags to be in. You should now have only the ceilings you want tagged selected. Now when you do a tag all, you should have the option to tag only the selected elements.
