I know how to make an object transparent in a view by overriding graphics => Elements/Categories => Transparent. Is there a way to globally set an object or a catagory to be transparent? Otherwise, if I have an object in 50 views that I want to be transparent, I will have to go through all 50 views and override... Thanks!

You are talking about a view setting. As such, it is only controlled through views. For categories, you can set this using view templates. For individual elements, you have to use the over-ride.

Thanks for the response. You are correct about the view template, however, that global change to make something transparent (or halftone for that matter) only works for overall categories, not sub-categories. Since the object I have created is a wall, but with its own sub-category, I can not change it to transparent that way, unless I want all walls to be transparent.

can sum1 plz aathch a building in rvt format in dere plzz...it shld hav some 3 4 levels... it need not be a detailed one...i just need to add dem in a complex..so jus de interior would do gr8..!! plzz attch it ...or if u hav some link from where i can download it plz temme....plz reply ..!!
