Hello everyone, I am now learning revit architecture 2011 and am having some difficulty on how to go by drawing this open dome. the dome has vertical 4'X12" and horizontal 8"X2" aluminum bands. please see attached images. Thank you for your help it is much appreciated.

In the Metric or Imperial Library there should be a number of base Mass shapes.  One of which is a dome.

Load and place it on the appropriate level, then using the massing tools place a curtain system by face, swap the panels to empty system panel if you don't require them and place mullions on the grids as required.
