Ive downloaded several families from this site to my content folder, but when I attempt to use them in a project, they dont show up in the folder. I also tried to search for them, but still nothing. BUT when I go into the folder from OUTSIDE revit, they are there. I also made sure they were from my, or an earlier version of revit. Im using Revit Arc. 2010

Last year using an earlier version(2009), I never had this issue. Ideas?

You are navigating to the correct folder in revit?

What platform are you on?

Just drag and drop the families from windows explorer right into REVIT, you don't need to use load or insert and you can do multiple drag and drop with shift+click as well.

i suspect your REVIT library path is not going to the right place?

Drag and dropping the file inside of Revit does work. Don't know why you can't map the file from inside Revit.

*Using REVIT 2013 on Windows 7
