You know how you can hide section markers at “scales greater than”Is there a way to do the opposite, “hide at scales lesser than?”

I need to do a series of sections referenced only off the largest scale plan in the set (and its a huge set). Im looking at having to manually hide them in all plans at a lower scale, and that will take lightyears to do.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or tips.

This will work but it will turn off all the section markers in the applicable views.
Set up a view template with the visibility graphic overrides you want and maybe make that the 'default' view template of the views in question.
You can apply a view template to multiple views by shift + click to select all the views you want in the project browser then right clcik and apply that view template or apply the default view template.
Probably not quite what you want however?

Thanks for that, not quite what Im after unfortunately. Id like all my sections to stay turned on in all my floorplans, but to draw a set of new sections that only show up in the LARGEST scale site plan, not other plans at finer scales.

I have a solution now, for anyone who comes across this post, it comes courtesy of hisdirt:

1. make a design option called 'site sections'

2. Have two options, one called 'OFF' (primary), and another 'ON'

3. for the section markers in question, set the 'visible in option' drop down to 'site sections - ON'. They will now disappear in every single plan.

4. in the site plan you want them to show up in, set the 'site sections' design option to show as ON. they now pop up here.

Thanks for the solution, hisdirt. saved my bacon

Excellent solution !
Which makes me think that Phase / Phase Filters could also be used in a similar way.
