hey all,

i need to export one material library from one revit model to another, how can i do this in revit 2011?

Did you try to open the two projects, then select a simple component with that material (a wall for example), then CTRL-C, go to the new project and CTRL-V, it's a simple copy/paste, also, in Manage tab you have "Transfer Project" where you can transfer what you want from one project to the other, in this case select only "Materials".

may I export a material library of revit 2013 in order to open the same material library in revit 2014?

In the Manage tab, go to transfer project standards and select MATERIAL. Im not sure you can do it in the 2011 version but I think so.
