I have an issue where some of my sections symbols are all of the sudden not visible in plan and elevation. One is still visible but the rest have mysteriously gone AWOL. I have run into this before but have not been able to find the issue.

You probably changed the scale of the view that is no longer showing the section symbols. Say from 1:50 up to 1:100 or 1/8"=1'-0" to 1/16"=1'-0" Solution: Click on the section symbol (may have to reset the view scale to something more detail or go to view that does show the section symbol) and note the property 'Hide at Scales coarser than <>. This option is meant to be used to your advantage of coarse. See image.
