Hi, I´m trying to make a Custom Hatch Pattern by entering codes on a notepad so revit may be able to read it, but I´m just do not know what am i missing following the procedure of info. I just cannot do it not matter what I do including the years and years of trying, Sad, jajjaja.

Would you help me resolving this issue?, I already draw my pattern manually on the 4 fachades of my project, but I preffer to erase those detail lines and let a good custom pattern be part of the drawing.

I know this example will help me and all the revit comunity to solve the custom hatch pattern.

Thanks a lot and my best wishes...

Sorry for asking again, but although I'm having progress on making hatch patterns on revit, I cannot make circles on patterns like this one I am uploading. It´s a concrete panels hatch with little circle marks . Would you mind telling me the parameters or coordinates for this pattern, I appreciate your help!.

I forgot, the parameters of the lines in the pattern are:

90,0,0,0,1220

0,0,0,0,2440

I just dont know how to insert the coordinates for the circles...

You can't make circles in hatch patterns.  You could approximate with small lines but...I would not even try.

It is possible, have you ever seen the pattern of stones or roof tiles with half circle arc? It really is possible...

Hatch pattern definitions are made up entirely from straight lines, curves are always approximated by short segments.

For example the attached HatchKit pattern approximates a 10mm circular hole with 5 lines (a pentagon).  Using a small square would simplify calculations if you wanted to create the hatch pattern with a test editor as their short side segments would then line up in this pattern.

You should try myHatch, its free and it work so well.

You need to add some parameter later on, but it is an easy task.
