The walls in the attached rendering looks if they had mold or some kind of texture when I have applied only white paint....what caused them to look like this? I assume it's a lighting issue.  How can I fix it?

I kind of like that mold look. . . . . . . . try adding interior lighting. Looks like your already there.

 

Also from what I can tell there is a 'bump' pattern in the out of the box Paint Material. Maybe turn that off and play with some of the other material settings shown below.

Turn on "daylight portals" when you render.  I had this same problem initially.  Revit treats exterior light differently if it knows it is coming through windows and this will remove the "mold" issue.  FYI, it will also take a lot longer to render.

Answering to dgcad:

a. it already has interior lighting;

b. as far I am concern that's no "bump" pattern for paint....at least when I checked. Your attachment shows "plant" not "paint".

Daylight portals were on so......
