I am very new to Revit which is probably pretty obvious. I have a linked file where I've turned on annotative objects so that I could see room tags but now I want to turn only some of the information back off such as dimensions and door tags. When I go to the Revit Link Display Settings all of the object selection information is greyed out and I can't select it. Am I suppose to be going to a different place? Or is there something I need to do prior to going here? I have attached a picture so that anyone could look at the area I am at.

In the basic tab switch from By Linked View to Custom. Then you can set your annotation tab to custom.

Sorry but when you link by view, you don't have many options. Custom will not allow you to see linked tags or control them.

I was able to toggle the annotative tags on/off following the directions sent by TKennedy.
