Hi RevitCity, I am working in a carport job now and my client wants to have an angled joist at the ends and I've tried to edit a joist family without any luck. Since I find a picture easier to explain my problem and ultimate goal, please, see attached the general idea and a detail of what I need my rendering to looks like. Thank you

Did you ever get an answer? Duplicate the joist typ and rename it. Edit the family add a void locking the void to the proper dimensions. Might be a better way, but this worked for me.

Hello Maroyer , I did not get an answer other than yours. Because I have a tight dead line, I used my Photoshop knowladgeto fake my problem. I will try what you suggested just to learn and for future reference. Thanks a lot.
