OK, three weeks into the project the Architect decides to rotate all the plans so North is up. Previously they had North as left. So I basically need to rotate everything (7 or 8 plans on several sheets) clockwise 90 degrees. Any hints?

I tried this in one of my projects in 2010. Under the view properties there is a Orientation parameter. Change the value to True North. Give that a try.

I guess the answer here depends on your project needs. If you actually are changing the buildings orientation to True North, then you need to read the help file on "Project North" & "True North" and learn how to set and control them. If you are simply rotating a view's orientation on a sheet, then read the help file on "Rotating Views".
