I am creating new annotation symbols, level heads, door tags etc. I have found that if I create the text last, the text masks the geometry of the surrounding tag box or in the case of level heads, if I put them too close together they obscure eachother. Is there anyway to reduce this mask size or send the text to the back. I can't find a reference to this anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Also, is there anyway to make the text in annotations all in capitals? Post edited on 2005-10-12 21:15:54

1. Make the text background transparent as opposed to opaque. You cannot adjust the masking, but you can turn it off. 2. Type it in capitals or use a font that is all capitals... HTH.

Saying the documentation help is light is a complement, AutoDesk help menus are virtually non-existant, helpless.

If it wasnt for these forums, they woudl be out of businuess. I really miss all the hard copy documentation from Autocad Release 12
