I'm relatively new to revit. I'm using Revit Architecture 2010.

My question is simple, is there a way to attach or pin detail elements like brick or insulation in a wall section to the wall, so if i move the wall they move with it?

 Thanks

If you mean left/right in the section, you can maybe use align and set the lock but I have not tried it.

If it's a filled region, you can lock all relevant sides.   You could also use a big ugly linear dimension and lock that.   Many components have temporary dimensions -- you can drag the blue dots of these temporary dimensions to relevant objects if Revit guesses wrong--and then, if you click on the |<-->| icon right near the dimension number, you can turn this "temporary" dimension into a permanent dimension.

Then, once it's a permanent dimension locked to an object, you can right click on the dimension, and override graphics by view, and by element, and make it invisible!
