I have an overhead door family (I don't know where it originated from) that will not detect the from or to room for the schedule unless I offset it down 2'-6". Any idea what I need to do to the family to fix this?

This may be a room issue. Did you look at where the top of your room is? Otherwise, we would probably have to look at the family.

the top of the room offset is set at 8'-0. Other doors into the same rooms work. This door family doesn't work in any of the rooms.

Thanks. Setting it higher did fix it. My doors were only 10' tall and I had been told as long as the offset was more than half of the door height it would work. Guess that was not quite true.
