I'm trying to set up a parameter for use with an array group in a family. I have created the parameter but when I enter the formula "=Length/50" as in length divided by 50mm, i get an error meesage "Inconsistent units". What does it mean? How do I get around it?

If length is in your formula, then the parameter has to be a length parameter. ... and obviously, length can not be used in an array number.... You need an integer so your formula has to reslove this.

Try this (Length/50)*1mm. this will return the value in milimeters. I don't know what you are trying to accomplish with the array but this formula will solve the "inconsistent units" problem. WWHub is correct however and the parameter type probably needs to be an integer.
