Can anyone help me with a stair question.

I'm not sure why revit creates the stairs in the attached drawing the way it does. I want to create a monolithic stair that wraps around a corner, but I'm not getting what I'm looking for.

Is there a way to get the stairs shown on the right by building only one set of stairs. When I try I get the stairs shown on the left.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the reply,

It seems like it is the same issue, however neither of the links supplied in that thread are available, so I cannot see the answer you suggest.

Please note that these are monolithic stairs, not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks for your help.

If someone could just explain the issue that would be great. I don't know why, but I cannot see your video, the web page tells me that it is unable to locate the link. Not sure what that issue is.

I understand that the problem seems to be that revit calculates the underside of the stair as going straight from one sloped boundary to the other, and that interferes with the top of the stairs.

Can someone please explain the steps to work around this or else post a video in a different location.

Thank you very much.

You are right, the link goes directly to "Screencast" page and not to Megaupload, now I corrected the issue BUT if you Copy/paste that same link into another page it works fine....
