Hello there. I modified two door famiies, one six pannels sincle door and a pocket door six pannel by changing the interior and exterior moldings. on the foor plans I can see the top molding and I do not know how to show only the cut jams only. what do I have to do to show the jam sections only, not the head?

i am a relative newby to families, but i have learnt that checking visibility on every element is rather important. have you checked the trims to see if they are visible when cut in plan etc? from looking at expert's families, i also notice they use parameters to control if an element is 'on' or 'off', so maybe check you have not changed something like that. you may need to upload your family so the clever ones can check it for you!

Adjust the cut plane in the family so it cuts the door at the appropriate level.

Exactly the same process as in the project. View properties-->Edit View Range and adjust the cut plane to a level that will cut you door at the appropriate level under all conditions if possible.
