In my section cut, I couldn't see the hatching pattern of the topo I made. I have tried use material (site earth) to it. In that material, I set a cutting pattern to the topo, but it doesn't work.

Massing and site tab, model site / site settings (pull-down arrow) - Set your hatch here and how deep you want it to show.

Be sure to check Site Settings.  Make sure that the section cut material in the section graphics is set to the material you want.

Are there any updates on having multiple cut patterns for topos?

It is now 2012. In R13, It doesn't seem as though there is yet an option to have multiple settings for the topo material in cut section.  Is that true or is there some gizmo somewhere controlling that secondarily that I haven't found?  I'd love to put a different material designation for a couple of different phases of grading.
