Hi Everyone, I've searched the forum for answers and could not find anything similar to my problem. I currently have a couple of issues with R. Arch. 2011. Hardware acceleration and Anti-Aliasing is off. 1st: I get this blip/tiny window everytime I load Revit 2011. See attached image. What the hell is that and how can you get rid of it? Very annoying! 2nd: I cannot properly view materials in the Render Appearance Library.The window is off and shows up at the bottom right of the Render App. Library dialogue window. See attached image. I have a XP Pro x64 SP2, Core 2 Extreme x9650 3.0 GHz with 6GB RAM, ATI FireGL V3400 driver version 8.583 Help!

I'm sorry I can't be more help than to say I've seen this issue on these forums before, for previous versions of revit. Particularly what you see in picture #2. Perhaps if you keep searching, non-specific to 2011, you'll find it. Hope that's a bit of a starting point.

thanks for the replies. itsmyalterego: cannot find the thread you are referring to. i've searched "display" "graphics" & "glitch". none came up with a similar problem to mine. typhoon: that link is specific to Nvidia cards, i have ATI. i've already re-installed both Revit and ATI display drivers and still have the same problems. According to Autodesk list of GPU's, my graphics card should work with 2011 (ATI FireGL V3400). this is very frustrating and annoying when you can't see your materials or you have that blip of a tiny box at the center of your work area. c"~

solved! it was a GPU driver issue. Solution was to roll back my ATI driver. For people using FireGL v3400, driver version that works is 8.353.1.0
