When I create a wall opening in this stacked wall, my corners are no longer joined neatly mitred

(Revit Architecture 2011)

After you create the stacked wall you can disassociate the SW, just select then right button, it's like you can "explode" that wall in two and work in them separately....

That worked, I am just not sure why! Does a stacked wall need to be treated as separate walls when items are inserted?
