Please do, I would appreciate it. I'm interested to see if the 512MB video card makes the difference. Are you using windows 7? Thanks, Lorne

Yes, windows 7. It's better than xp, but still not as smart as osX.

the old UNIX system with all its flavors was at its peak in the 70s and 80s.. it was good like DOS but much more complex and more capable.. today- UNIX is just too out-dated to be much good for anything.. but there was one flavor of UNIX that was exceptionally good and so many people just loved it.. and that was the BSD distribution of UNIX.. when APPLE was finally forced to discontinue the Mac OS 9 operating system- there was still a market for the glitzy APPLE hardware and the NAME "Mac".. so they brought in the old BSD version of UNIX and now call that osX.. the MAC osX doesn't make much sense today as a computer- but many people will do ANYTHING as an alternative to the big fat evil MICRO$OFT..

Creeker, I found out the problem, or at least a temporary solution. I unchecked the "Use Hardware Acceleration" graphics option. That has fixed the issue. So if you have issues too, that's it. Thanks for the help. Vector, I have no idea what you're talking about other than trying to advertise.

Hey guys,
Lorne17- from your own experience, do you think that the new Intel i5 Macbook Pro (as spec. in the link) will be capable of running Revit 2012 and Autocad... reasonabily well. This seems similar to your machine from what I have read. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-MacBook-MF839B-13-Inch-Yosemite/dp/B00UY2U93W/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1442710049&sr=1-1&keywords=macbook+pro
I'm on a bit of a buget. Any help or advice would be amazing, because I am comletely lost on all this stuff!!!
Thanks, Glen
