We are working on a project in which we are using design options and when i drop an elevation tag on the floorplan it will only snap to the exterior shell of the model which is link into our revit model for the interior. If i drop the tag it imediatley greys out and i cant adjust anything on it. I go to the view and even the crop region is greyed out. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

This is a problem currently in Revit. You can not change views or modify them while in a DO. Just DO edit none. Make sure to set the VG of your view to the DO you want rather than automatic.

I change the VG what do you mean "Just DO edit none" where is this located. Thanks for the help

DO edit none - I meant set Design Option edit to main model. You can't be in the DO if you want to change the view settings.
