Hi, We are going to upgrade from 2010 to 2011. But we have a close deadline. Not quite sure if we should wait until we meet this deadline. Will this cause some potential extra work? In theory, it sounds fine. But we don't want to find it's not a good idea when you have a tight schedule after we have done that. Please give us a feedback if you did this before. Thank yo very much!

I've upgraded 4 projects from 2010 to 2011 with no hitches. But if you're very close to completion, it might no be worth even a small risk... Upgrade a copy of the file perhaps, and see if there are any conflicts. I find revit 2011 to be a huge improvment over 2010. Much faster to work with. Also I cannot recall seeing any threads complaining of upgrade grief, like their were from 2009 to 2010 (which also did not personally experience.)
