Hi RevitCity, I am a relatively new user to Revit and I am trying to figure out somtheing that is simpe in mind, but difficult in practice. How do I show arrows in plan and elevation of sliding doors and windows? I have tried putting them into the family and the geometry seems to do strange things, isn't there a simple option to turn them on or off? Thanks for your help guys, this is a great website! Syd

You will want to use symbollic lines in the family - for plans, I would make a sliding arrow the same as the normal door swing. You can also add the symbollic linework for elevation views.

Thanks you, I appreciate the reply. Having worked upon it for a little while now I understand that I was constraining these lines to the wrong elements within the family. Its working for me now. Domo Arigato!
