Hello everyone! I'm Gord, and currently I'm doing a practicum with a design company so I get credits and graduate from my recent program at college.

 Now, onto my problem(s).

I'm putting together a house with many single-slope rooves, and I'm having a problem with these 3 rooves in particular (pictures attached). With the (from this perspective) left one, I want to cut the portion that's coming from the roof which is sloping towards the viewer. The same goes for the roof on the right side.

Beyond the cutting, I was wondering if there's a way I can extend the bottom edge of the roof on the rigth hand side. I've looked at joining the geometry and trying to edit the footprint, but even when I change the view to wireframe it doesn't want to show me the intersecting lines.

If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums ....

First what version of revit are you using?

Second can you provide a section both ways through the area in question to understand the relation of the walls and roof lines.

Thanks

Absolutely!

I'm using Revit Architecture 2010.

If these section pictures don't help enough, I can try to get better ones.
