I have been stumped for a while and was unable to find anything searching the old forum threads...  I have in front of me now an elevation that should have two building section callouts in it.  Only one shows.  I checked the VG and for hidden objects.  It does the same thing on the opposite elevation where the same two should building section callouts should show.  A cross directional section does show both building sections in question.  I tried adjusting the extent of the section to make sure it crosses the elevation plane.

But in another post to a similar problem:

Change your scale to a larger one and see if they rea-appear.  If they do, then you have to change the setting for hiding the callout in the smaller scales.

So I tried this and the both sections show up when I change the scale to anything larger or smaller than 3/16" = 1'...  I have been using Revit a good while but I am not sure what WWHub is referring two with hiding (or not) callouts by scale.  I am using old fashioned 2010 Revit Architecture.  All sections and elevations are at 3/16" scale.

Thanks!!

Still stumbling.

I tried recreating the problem in a new file but without success.

I place a new section in the area... but it has the same issue.

I change the callout to a wall section, still dissapears when it goes to 3/16" or 1/8" or smaller.

SO NOW I find the hide at scales courser than option....  I scanned the section cut properties several times before and missed this.  Apparently building section automatically set this to the scale they are created in.

I am not sure how this basic function has eluded me.. but now I know and knowing is half the battle.
