Does anyone know if it is possible to keynote a hidden object? I am working in MEP, and I am trying to place random keynotes that can't specifically target an object (nothing is near.) To get around this, I would like to be able to place a random object (like a diffuser), attach all of my keynotes to the object, and then hide it. Therefore, I can drag the keynotes where they are needed (with no leader line.) The problem is, hiding an object hides the keynotes. Anyone know of a quick fix for this?

As soon as you hide the object, the key notes will disappear. Instead, you can create a generic model family that is just an invisible line. We use a circle because it is easier to see. Now you can keynote this. Obviously, the family has to be in view to keynote it.
