When orbiting (shift+scroll wheel) I usually try to have something selected so it orbits cleanly. I just started using 2011 with Vista at a new job on a new computer/mouse set up. Now when I try to orbit with something selected it sometimes (maybe most of the time, but not all) moves the object that is selected in addition to orbiting. I have uninstalled the logitech mouse software b/c it wasn't allowing me to zoom properly. Is this another mouse problem? It's driving me crazy! Please help!

You must check the configuration of your mouse in control panel of windows, this is not a Revit problem, did you install the drivers for you mouse correctly? check that too.

I cannot figure out how this is a mouse problem. I have uninstalled the software and tried to updated the driver (there was no update). In the control panel, there is only options to set the how fast the scroll wheel moves. There is no place to set the function of the wheel. How could revit think I am doing a move command? Is there is somewhere in Revit that I can change the function of the wheel?
