I am creating a Louvre Window.  That can be adjusted.  I have the blades for the louvre arrayed, so the family can be adjusted depending on how many louvre blades i require for each window.

I have created an array for the Louvre blade, I can adjust it in the Family type.  But when i change the size of the family

my window moves correctly and the blades increase in numbers, but they do not stay inside the window opening.  When i lock the bottom of the array onto the frame, i have errors and constraints have to be unlocked.

My question is How do i get my array to move and stay inside my window opening.

I have attached the file, and it made in Revit Architecture 2010

Watch your family carefully, you didn't create that correctly, you must constrain (align) those blades to the frame, watch this tutorial from Mr Spot: http://www.revitcity.com/tutorials/arrays_and_nested/

i just recently added a window with a louver at the bottom to this to this site.  you may want to download it and se how it was done.  it may help to reverse engineer it for you to understand it. just search by my name and it is on the second page down towards the bottom.
