I am trying to make a family of exterior sliding doors that recess into a pocket. Each leaf is either 36" 42" or 48". I need the depth of the pocket to correspond to the leaf size. How do you dimension to a cut extrusion, so that I can make a parameter out of it.
In addition to this, I am also trying to get the wall to resize based on the number of pockets although I think that this is too much for one family to do though, and will end up making a new file.

I got it to work. sorry, i'm a 3 day newbie (started revit 3 days ago) and didn't know how to snap the ends of the voids to the reference planes. Then I didn't know where the cut geometry tool was. Got that too. Thanks for replying though. I am working through the families now.

On a side note, your website doesn't seem to be loading, or it is loading reaaly slow. It is pointing to 24.107.70.45, and seems to be getting nothing. Again thanks for trying to help.
