I am currently creating a Revit family library for my company (specifically electrical families) and I have created many types of families; floor/wall/ceiling/faced based families.

I am running into trouble when I create a familiy using the face-based template. It seems the family is quite easy to place anywhere in my model (as it should) however I can't see the annotation. Specifically this is happening for an EXIT sign i created. The family eas created in a face-based template file and is a wall mounted EXIT sign. The annotation won't go anywhere except ceiling/floor reference views. I have checked over the visibility of the annotation and familiy a billion times but im not sure what it going on when I can only place the annotation in the floor plan and it still never shows up. even if the wall mounted exit sign is placed on the floor in my project.

Any explination would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!!
