i've got some bathroom call outs that I want to put on another sheet in another file within Revit. The only way i can think of being able to do this is to import or link my whole building into another drawing file. That would make a really large file size. I'm using Revit 2010.

You could make some dummy sheets and views so the callout bubble will fill out and look correct.
