hi, I hope someone can give me some insight into this. What I have is a 3d family, very basic, which I use to depict joinery in floor plans. now, there are two types of joinery, low height and full height, which I differentiate in floor plans by placing a filled region on them (one diagonal and one crossed). Now apparently, someone has told me, I just needed to create this hatching inside the family so that when i place the joinery family in my model i just need to choose which hatching to show automatically without placing the filled region as a separate item...which means that if i move or resize the joinery the hatching changes at the same time.... i tried to do this.. i opened the family but i cant seem to place a hatching...because hatchings are 2d...not 3d.. i think it can NOT be done but i need to make sure.... thank you very much if anyone can help me !!!! enrique
