Has anyone transitioned to 2011 Architect in the middle of a project? I'd like to use the new version, but I'm afraid of what my "saved in the new version" files might do to the rest of the project team. Any experience out there?

Upgrading depends on may factors. - First and most important - Your team including consultants. Are they ready to upgrade? Will their equipment work with the upgrade? Don't guess at this - verify it. You can always do a tested upgrade.
- Project Size. Very large projects might overtax your system in an upgrade. ... again - you can test.
- Number of linked REVIT files. I advise you to turn off any links in the main file prior to upgrading and to upgrade each of those linked files seperately.
- Where are you in the project? If you are close to finishing ... why chance it? What advatages will it give you?
