I have adjusted the view range cut plane to view windows but then I can't see the doors. I can't understand why all the windows and doors will not show if they are located between the Primary Range. I read something about changing the family but that will affect all my windows. Do I need to change the wall to allow the windows and doors to be viewed together. The window sill starts at 7' the door height is 6'10"

OK I found it! Yes it's adjusted in the visibility portion in the options bar when you select to edit a family. every attachment can have different visibility within the family. Also different view selection, which there are many, can be set in thefloor plan view itself. I think this area "views" could be covered all in a serious tutorial. Don't look at me.
