I am designing some families for which I will need exactl part lists after they are inserted into the project. I asssume I should be using a material take-off schedule for this? Does anyone know of some good tutorials our information resources on how to do this? MB ____________________________________________ Uggs ugg boots

Did you search in your HELP menu first? The HELP menu is a GREAT tutorial....

Why not create the object using nested parts that are set to 'shared' so that each component that makes up the family schedules independently? Using a material take-off would only yield the areas and types of materials not a quantity schedule of components.
