Hi

Ive got a family consisting of few openings panels etc, the problem is now I need a family which is an exact mirror.

I do not need a button to flip a family when inserted, I just need 1 exact mirror copy of a family with different name, etc. I tried to mirror everything inside a family but failedSmile

Why not a flip arrow in the family?

Other than that you can nest the original family into another family, mirror as required and link the parameters to the nested family.

Im not too advanced in Revit so for the sake of easy scheduling I do not want to go into nesting - same reason for flip button - it will work but it will not be recognised properly in a schedule - I believe you can not make revit detect in schedule wether it was flipped.

I could add flip yes/no button but then it will be prone to human errorSmile
