Hi all,

I just updated to Revit 2010 and I'm trying to duplicate (with detailing) a plan view and then add it to a new sheet.  I used to just drag the new view onto the sheet.  This still works except now the view is no longer showing up under the "views" branch in the project browser.  When I look at the properties of the sheet it is still "located" in the view category that I had placed it in, but I can no longer see it there.  Is there something I've missed, or is this a new feature of 2010?

 Thanks for your help!

The copied view will be in the same browser area and will be named ..."Copy of XXXXX"

sorry, maybe I wasn't clear... when I create the copied view it does show up as "copy of xxx" and then I re-name it and place it in the correct view folder of my choosing.  then i drag it to the sheet I want it on, and it appears there, but disappears from the "views" branch.  does this make sense? thanks!

You place it in the correct folder?  You mean you assign it to some sort of "sort" parameter.

"...but disappears from the "views" branch.  does this make sense?" .... absolutly not.  Is your browser sorted to only show views not on sheets? Change your browser sort to show all and see if it is there.
