Hello.  I'm currently working on a project that has pre-definied walls with window systems already laid out.  We are adding an additional layer of wall to provide space for electrical wires and the like.  I've create the wall with the appropriate strucutre, and am setting it against the existing wall.

My question is, is there a method by which I can have the new wall adopt the openings of the existing wall?

I cannot simply add the structural layers to the existing walls because of phasing complications; they have to be seperate walls.  I know I can achieve this effect by putting openings in the wall, but that method is very time consuming.  Does anyone know an easier way?

Thanks in advance

-Patrick

Simply use the join geometry tool selecting one wall then the other and the openings will cut both walls.
