I have some good revit projects and have had made some good renderings in Revit but i want to learn to be good at making rendered walkthroughs using 3ds max. I have a slight idea of how one might import a revit file into 3ds max but other than that I am clueless. I have been looking for a good book or discussion on this topic so i can teach myself but i have not been successful in my search. Im looking for something that is thorough on detailed topics. for instance, i saw a walkthrough someone did in 3ds max and they got a door to open during the walkthrough! how in the world can i do that? haha I have downloaded 3ds max and am going to start teaching myself the program through tutorials but it would help if i had a resource dedicated to this one topic. please let me know if you can help! thanks! -Eric

" i saw a walkthrough someone did in 3ds max and they got a door to open during the walkthrough! how in the world can i do that? "

these type functions are easily done in programs that provide those types of features. 3ds Max is one them.

Good Luck with the 3ds Max, 3ds Max Design might be a viable option also.

Hi Eao, I am at the stage where you were last year. How did you go with your search, can you make some recommendations?

Cheers
