Hello I'm new to Revit, but is there away to change multiple data devices to telecom devices? When I edit the data type and try to load the telecom device family it wont let me because its a different category. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

If it doesnt load is because you re working with a different category as it says. try to upload in a different way. not from the objects properties but from the load family on the RIBBON. I hope it helps .

i can get the family loaded that i need into the drawing, I guess my question is, is there a quick way to replace the devices i already have in the drawing with the correct one if they are 2 different family cateogories (data and telephone) thanks
