So I'm having this weird problem with tags (I think Tag is the correct translation, in swedish Littera). Please see the attached image for getting a view of it! The weird problem is, why will the right of them become a question mark? Because if I right click one of them, and choose "Select all instances", they both get highlighted. (Which would indicate that they should be the same kind of Tags? Which makes me wonder why it becomes a question mark?) EDIT: PLEASE SEE POST #7

And if you click on question mark in work space ... can you rewrite it to somethink else in work space?

Are both doors tagged with the same tag? It really looks like they are not.

xzavoral: I can't I noticed I could on the other one but not this one. WWHub: If your refering to type as to "Element Properties" --> "Type", then yes, they both are the same, standard type. (Notice I didn't add, change or remove any types, which is part of why I'm a bit confused over this matter.)

If the tag is the same tag used on both doors, then these doors are not built the same and the parametrs are not the same, even if they look like they are.

In what way should they be built the same to make the parameter work?Because I have single doors, double doors and all kind of doors with this parameter, but it doesn't work with some which I think's weird.

I'm sorry but I will not donwnload your project. As I stated, these doors are not built the same and must not be using the same shared parameter or they are not in the same category. If you wold load 2 window families (one that tags right and one that doesn't) and your tag, we might look at it. ALSO _ PLEASE STATE WHAT VERSION OF REVIT YOU ARE USING.

I'm sorry. In the file i've uploaded there is a wall with three doors, one normal door which is tagged correctly, and two sliding doors that gives me a question mark.

Hi,
I'm 98 % sure you have two different shared parameters here - one in each door family, and a tag that reports one of them.
