Hi Everybody,
I created a concrete countetop component/family with an integral sink and backsplash. when I place the component in the model, the front edge of the counter and backsplash are visible in the plan view, but the sink opening is not. When I open the family file, everything looks fine - the countertop, sink and backsplash are all visible. Also, when I place the countertop the cabinet below is visible, too. Does anyone know how to correct these problems?

In the family make sure each element that comprises the family is set to display in plan in the visiibilty settings.
You may also need to edit the sink family to check whether its visibilty is on in plan.

Thanks Mr. Spot, I checked the visbility in the family editor and that was the problem. I corrected the visibilty settings and re-loaded the component and it showed up as intended. Thanks for your help.
